I am going to buy a new clarinet. I want the clarinet with gold keys. Below is the link of a clarinet i'm going to purchase. Can anyone tell me your opinions on this clarinet? and if it's worth it or not?. (I am an intermidiate student)
thanks in advance
that looks like a good instrument for an intermediate player and it comes with a lot of cool useful extra things i don't know anything about the brand, but i think that buying a clarinet that's less money when you're still an intermediate player is a good idea
You won't get much for $100 except disappointment. It's one of those cheap China made horns and I guarantee it is a peice of chunk. You probably are better off renting a student Yamaha.
i would go for a yamaha or buffet, this clarinet is more for a new student who wants to look differant, it is plastic, has a chaep mouthpiece and probally a rubbish ligature. you would be beter of buying a used buffet or yamaha or if you are going to buy a peice of cheap chinese !***! at least buy a woodern one, then you can replace the lig and mouthpiece and have a chance at a resonble clarinet.
Conclusion- DON'T BUY THAT PEICE OF RUBBISH YOU WILL ONLY BE DISAPPOINTED!!!, don't trust instruments from china unless they are branded ones which the brands you recongnise.
Get a buffet e11- a decent wodern clarinet or if you can find one an old boosey and hawkes regent, or even a buffet b12 would be a better choice then the chinese one!
