Is it a hard switch cause I really want to try the clarinet, I`ve been playing ten. sax for 6-7 years and want to start learning new instruments and I really like how the clar sounds and looks.

If you have `6-7 yrs` of expirence, it shouldnt be that hard than that of a beginner. I have been playing clarinet for 4 years now, and I just started playing alto and tenor. Clarinet should be challenging if your doing it opposite to what I am. More notes, more alternative fingerings, and many different fingerings than the tenor/alto. But...clarinet is very simular to the sax because the upper register (d-(chromatic fingerings up to)b)is the same on both instruments. Although your low g is my c. Different concept, but with a lot of practice-you have most of the essentials to begin the clarinet. Good luck, and have FUN! You will `never` be dissatisfied. I didnt have problem switching to alto and tenor (if thats what your looking for).
Play On!
