Alright... I`ve had this clarinet for about 10 years now... I played for 8 years or so, but now I am downsizing to just one. Anyway, the one I want to sell is a JORAY clarinet made by the J.E. Ray Company, which it says were in Denver and New York. The case is quite old, and I would not be surprised if it was at least fifty years old. The serial number on it is `1433`. I really have not been able to find one other one, let alone any information on the company. Does anyone have any ideas?

I have an old Joray clarinet serial # 965. I believe these Joray's were respectable student instruments in their day. Never the less I believe they are made of grenadilla wood (or perhaps rosewood etc., how do you tell?). Mine has a white plastic Joray mouth piece. I have tried some newer "better" horns, but the ones I tried didn't impress me as being enough better than my Joray to warrant the price. Did the person that was going to sell their Joray do it and for how much?
