swollen Lips. Ugh.

Well. I have just autdtioned and got into the HSWB (Highland Scools Wind Band. Basically a huge collection of all the wind players in the Highlands of Scotland. The music is terrfyingly hard.) We had our first weekend away, staying in this big fancy hotel ect.ect.
Anyway. We had to play for about 5 hours on Friday and 7-8 hours on the Saturday. I know. That is a HUGE amount. And by the end of it, my lips were really swollen and chapped (the other oboist took an alergi reation to her reed and her face swelled up)
Anyway to stop chapped and swelling lips. Ow ow ow. I cant really put vascaline on because it will go all over the reed.
