So, oboe people...what songs are you working on right now? And what makes of oboes do you all play?

I play a beginer Yamaha model (Cause I'm still a nub oboe)

I play the Barret method ;o

Yeah, the bassoon forum is pretty dead too. Anyway when I played oboe, for like 6 months, I had a plastic Bundy or something like that. It was pretty much crap but it was pretty fun. There's one girl at my school who started oboe a couple weeks ago and another who wants to and will pretty soon. Both flutists. Kinda funny cause we didn't have any oboes in band this year and out of the blue we get 2. Yay!

I had to play on one of my school's oboe once, it wasn't very pretty....

It was very rusty and smelled horrible x_x

I wanna try bassoon ;o

Bassoon is pretty fun, but sometimes I feel the urge to play oboe. But the problem is that I don't have access to one. Anyway double reed instruments are awesome.

Aha, yeah.

Oboe is really fun to play, I've never tried a bassoon though.
