Random thought: has anyone ever named their oboe? It occurred to me that people name boats, bowling balls, and stuff...does anyone ever name their instrument?

I have never named my oboe, but my previous private instructor named her new Loree, Louis (like the french name) lol

I agree with Canadian. Once I buy one, I'll name it. Cuz I would just name the one I'm renting Piece-of-Crap.
