Some years ago, on the radio, I heard the most exquisite recording of Heinz Holliger playing "La Folia" variations by Marin Marais. He was accompanied by Christiane Jaccottet (harpsichord) and I think there was a double bass or a cello continuo, too.
Anyway, for years, I've been haunted by this recording, and I've searched and searched - with no success whatsoever.
Does anyone know of this recording (CD or vinyl) and where I could get hold of a copy?
Please help, it's slowly driving me mad...
