I am a clarinetist but I have just picked up an oboe at a pawnbroker because it was cheap ! It says selmer usa on the bell, but no other markings except the number B 68187. The tarnish on the keys indicate that they are silver plated and the instrument seems to be of ABS plastic. Looking at oboe pictures I believe my oboe has full conservatory keywork. Can anyone offer any comments that may help me identify what I have got ? Many thanks.

Most older selmer's I've seen don't have Low Bb or Left F. It's really hard to learn proper fingering without Left F.
