I see that a lot of schools have dusty bassoons rotting in the back and you just happened to get to play it. Even if you own a cool one, what kind of Bassoon do you have?

I have a Hueller something and its maple I think.

A Chinese made bassoon. Brand name is Hsinghai.

It's not a good thing.
I'm planning to have a Fox Renard 220 or 240

I have a 45 year old Adler, a brand more popular in Europe than in the States, but a very nice German bassoon.

I have a bundy selmer, with schreiber bocal. I repadded and recorked the bassoon myself, and it's playing nice with my new "holy grial" reeds !! but in two months my own bassoon will arrive, it's a miraphone, most probably made by schreiber. (it's not a kreul, nor a puchner, so schreiber it's the only option) :-)
