I hadn't heard of them before, but I googled Kroner bassoon and got quite a few hits which you might want to explore. They seem to be a Western German bassoon and the pictures of them look beautiful - but all new bassoons look beautiful, don't they, with their shiny keys and fancy woodwork.

Very interesting. I wish there was a way I coudl try it out. They look like very high quality bassoons. But so do laurels on ebay..
