okay i got a crutch for my bassoon for christmas right...
well i looked in the spot where you put the crutch and there were four tiny holes instead of a big hole that could fit the metal thing sticking out of the crutch...
i need help 
could someone please tell me how to put my crutch onto my bassoon?

What make is your bassoon also the crutch?
Every manufacturer has a different bracket with varying screw hole spacing & also the diameter of the crutch rod varies. How about contacting the store that the crutch came from? Look at the Fox web site - www.foxproducts.com. - they use two different rod diameters.
