Hi everyone! We recently found an old linton Bassoon at my school! I am trying to figure out how old it is now. on the boot joint it had a number: 5k 37587. Would this be the serial number? If it is, does anybody know what year this might be from? Thanks in advance for your help!

5K is the model - their more basic one. You could try an email to them for the age - www.lintonwoodwinds.com
