I started learning the bassoon 1 and a half years ago. Got a senior to teach me the basics but most part you gotta learn it on your own.
My advice is, try getting yourself a fingering chart (you can try www.wfg.woodwind.org or type `bassoon fingering chart` on any search engine). Then get yourself a bassoon recording so that you know how a good bassoon intonation sounds like.
Still, the best way is to find someone to teach you face to face. Don`t be afraid to experiment with your instrument!!
