Maybe Getzen markets a trumpet like one that Doc Severinsen played at one time, but I belive he now plays the "Severinsen Destino" almost exclusively, which is what he calls his "dream horn" and is of his own design. If you don`t already know about it, check it out at www.docseverinsen.com [i/].

Thanks for that. I knew that Getzen`s "artist model" was formerly called the severinson model or some such. I wondered why it was renamed. The Destino looks to be a very fine horn. If only I could afford the $4000 tag. :-D
