How do people like Wayne Bergeron play so clearly and with such wonderful tone in the high register? He is the epitome of playing versus screaming. I can already HIT a Double C (C above high C) and I can PLAY up to a double G (below double C). How do I play that high with a clear mellow tone?
Practice, practice, practice! Don't waste your time or that of others seeking advice on short cuts to high range success. There aren't any. Anyone who plays like Wayne Bergeron does in the high register has sacrificed a great deal of time and pain in getting there.
Use air, and practice..don't apply so much pressure also to your face. Another thing, focus on other things besides playing high, because that won't make you a god. I know people that can play much higher than me, but my technique just kills them.
