So here I am, an 18 year old jazz player who cant play high notes to save his life anymore. I have not been doing anything wrong, I think. I was playing double C, but now I can barely hit super G. As long as the note itself comes out, I can force more air to play it louder. It seems that my chops are there, but my lips wont vibrate. They're not chapped or anything. I'm trying out for the DCI group Blue devils, and Cavies, so i need my range. The basic question Is there anything I can do to get my stupid lips to vibrate?

Thanks, Mitchell

Sure thing man. Don't play with wet lips, play with dry lips.
