Mine are $30 for a 45 minute lesson, but the lesson will often go to an hour if my teacher does not have another student after me. For my area this is a really decent price considering that I live pretty close to NYC and I know some people who give lessons that cost twice as much.

Welll.
I've never taken private trumpet lessons, and don't plan on it.
So surprisingly enough, Mine are free XD.
Actually I'm just happy with the school band classes.
I don't really plan on making a career out of trumpet :]

If you're studying with a professional player like me soon enough, it's gonna be in the 50-100 $$ range. Umm, if you want to study with me it'd be $20 a lesson. Lesson meaning it can go from 20min to 3hrs. So if you practice and do good, then i'll spend time...but if you don't practice and mess around then i'm just gonna leave and say have something ready for next week. I'm currently trying to get 4th-7th graders to study with me privately as i am going to major in music..i want to teach and perform. And its' a good way to make a couple extra dollars.
