Hi. I'm getting braces soon. I had a friend who played trumpet as well and was constantly applying wax to his brackets during class. I'm afraid I'll do something stupid and become unable to play or something. however, I had braces just prior to playing. Any tips?

At the same time, however, I'm doubling as a concert oboe. My trumpet is for jazz. Do you think the juggling of embouchures will be more difficult?
