Im a newbie..
im hillary.. im 16.. i play trumpet, ive been 1st chair since 5th grade! :-)
i like taking back sunday, dashboard confessional, and the lostprophets..
i used to cheer and i was captain but i quit because my coach wouldnt let me march out with the band..
I run track really slow... i run 400 hurdles.. its kinda fun. i like to scream as i jump them.. yup every ten..
anyone else wanna introduce themselves

hello and welcome.
i'm 15 and have been playing the trumpet for six years but only play first about about half the time or less. (i don't mind because what i lack in range i make up with the sound quality of the range that i do have, which makes me happy  ).
i wanted to do tennis but my time was taken up by homework and rehearsals. i've never done cheerleading though. in fact i don't think i've done any sports at all in the past few years. i guess i'm lazy? well marching band has to count for something .
Well, have fun talking with the rest of us trumpeters.

Good band that TBS...
18 yrs, been playin since 5th grade that’s 1,2,3...8 years
gonna be a freshman in college next year, I played scream for my junior and senior year. As in NOT lead, up the octave on 1st parts. It was fun but now I get to be a nub again, joy. Enjoy the trumpet girls its fun and as an english major I'm not going to be able to really enjoy it as much as I would like. You don't realize how much you enjoy it until you lose it...

Hi. I'm Ashlee
I've been playing for four years and have always been 1st chair but now I'm going to high school and will prolly get 2nd or 3rd. (The whole band depends on people from my elementary school and the first chair comes from there so I can't expect 1st(I'm not conceited. It's the 1st chair that expects me to get 2nd or 3rd))
I was able to get high g in my sencond year(can go much higher now, even though it's not all about going 'high')) and have been told that I have 'incredible tone'
I like animals. I have 22.
As for music...well, I'm weird.

I'm 15, and a sophomore.
I'm third chAir in the higher band (we have two different bands, one that's mostly upperclassmen that you audition for, and then another one that's for everyone who didn't make th higher one)
In marching, I play the first part, and if there's ever a high note needed, they call on me.
I'm not saying I'm a screamer like you hear out of the Blue Devils most years, but I'm developing that.
Double F most days, higher on good ones.
I'ev been playing since 6th grade, and I'm in tenth now, so you do the math . . . .
I used to play soccer for my high school, but had to quit because it took away time from band.

im sorta late,but im 17 been playing for 6 years. im kinda good,mainly at articulations and tone. that makes up for my volume issues(which i almost have,just a little more practice!) im section leader in marching band,and normally switching between 1rst and 2nd chair in concert band.

I live on Okinawa. Thats an island near Japan. I hate it here, its like living on a freakin' rock. ITs like THIIIIISSSS big. *showes the tip of a pencil* Siiigh. I have wildly curly hair with streaks of brown (which will b straignted this week!!) and Im sort of short but that dosen't really matter. I have dark green eyes and Im a class clown.I love music and Im serious as a heartatack about music. I love it. I love my skateboard as my own hair. I love riding da board I have a NAsh board and I surf and play softball.
Lol. Our cheerleaders are all !****!ed. its disorganized and the music is like...whaaaaT? I really dont like cheelreaders 'cuz my bff turned into a complete bitch whose always on her period. she acts like shes the queen of the world. I wanted to cheer but she looked at me and said dead on, "You? Like yeah right. You're just a stupid band geek."
I wanted to kill her. so i didn't try out but now im sort of mad becuase the team needs someone who can handle it.

LOL, neways, o well. Our football games suck too we have lost like every game. EVERY game.

Yeah my name is Eric. I'm a senior, 17 years old. I've been playing the trumpet for 8 years and was always revered beyond my peers by my instructors. I was always given the solos, always the lead. But my friend who lives down the street was always better than me. He's a year older though, but I've always honored my time spent playing with him. We did everything together. Jazz band, pep band, concert band, brass ensambles, things for churches, lots of stuff. When I got into the high school, he had surpassed everyone in the school, but as had I. I was second chair for 2 years... Last year and the year before. Now this is my year to shine.
I currently play lead in the school's jazz band, concert band, and brass quintet, I play mellophone for the pep band (we have no alto section) and I hope to be playing at least second trumpet for our school's production of West Side Story. I had an astonishing breakthrough the other day, where I finally learned how to really play the instrument. My band instructor has noticed, as has the rest of the band, especially the tenor sax section in front of me... I feel bad but it's beautiful music...
I'm currently in the run for a new mouthpiece, and hope to be trying out for the regional band. Music is my life...

HEYY I'm Jameh as you can see!
I go to Canterbury HS in Ottawa ON which is ZEE BEST ARTS SCHOOL IN CANADA BTW. I'm in the music program on trumpet, been playing for 3 years and just joined this place for fun ... and it's so cool to talk to other trumpet players ... i'm not the only band geek out there :') *sniff*
anyway...it's midnight now best be off band in the morning!!

ok i feel REALLY young....... um I know I don't play the trumpet but I soon want to....(saving up my money and everything.......) I play piano. flute, and guitar...... have three older brothers.....7th grade.......music is my life and that's about it................... im pretty plain.......
