I was wondering if there was a way to remember the scales. Like how to remember that Bb concert is the trumpet C scale and has nothing in the key signature. Thanks

The way to remember scales to take the concert pitch a whole step up, for example,
Bb concert scale starts on the note C
Eb concert scale starts on the note F
C concert scale starts on the note D

ok I see
Bb C
C D
C#/Db D#/Eb
D E
D#/Eb F
and so on
now is there a way to remember the key signatures other than memorizing them?

If you don't want to memorize the key signature for each individual scale, the only idea I can think of is to maybe memorize the order of flats... B E A D G C F (BEAD is the Greatest Commen Factor is a good phrase to use in remembering this.)After doing this try to associate the letter with the number of sharps or flats the scale has.
B- 5 sharps (the order of sharps is FCGDAEB)
E- 4 sharps
A- 3 sharps
D- 2 sharps
G- 1 sharp
C- 0
F- 1 flat
Bb- 2 flats
Eb- 3 flats
Ab- 4 flats
Db- 5 flats
Gb- 6 flats
It might seem confusing, and IMHO, I found it easier just to memorize all the scales, which in the long run made things much easier for me, but I'm hoping this will make it slightly easier to memorize and not more confusing.
