i am a senior at chino hills high school. i played the oboe in marching band for the past three years. our band got a new band director and he said i could not march oboe. i then decided to move to trumpet. it was a hard transition but those other trumpet players were very supportive!

ya, well i didnt know any better. my band director didnt know what he was talking baout so for the first three years i marched oboe. i couldnt be heard but it was easy marching it. the only problem was there were many broken reeds
