alritght im going to play the trumpet!!!!!!! (if you read my other board you'll get what i mean) any practicing tips, warm-ups, of just tips.......lol!!!! thanks!!!!!
Haha... yeah well I think that getting a private teacher would be the best thing to do... they'd be able to tell you what to do. As for practicing tips.. well just practice a little every day and don't over-practice before a performance... work your practice time up over time... start with maybe 20 minutes a day, to 30, to an hour. but yup good luck!
This is my second year playing trumpet and it is really fun! My Band director always warms up with lip slurs and scales. As for practicing, I would start at 20 minutes and work your way into maybe an hour or an hour and a half. You can do it!
well when i first get it i will be practicing hours a day ofcourse 20 min at the least for all instruments......but i can't get lessons becuase i have paino and flute...... it would be to much so my friend who plays the trumpet is going to help me..... and my band director...
not all teachers are expensive. my teacher is a college student, he charges $13 half hour, even a couple of the top players at my high school teach private lessons, you don't have to find a proffesional
searching...
