Simple Question...which do you prefer, dark or bright?

Personally, it's all about the flashy, brassy, sizzlin' brightness to me.

It all depends on the piece, dude. I don't want brassy and bright if I'm playing Hummel, but I do if I'm playing Shostakovich...know what I'm saying?

Jazz sometimes needs that mellow, smokey sound to make 'em weep. Other times, you want that wake-em-up tone that pierces the bone. Got it?

bright/dark whatever gets me the $$$ lol but i prefer bright
