Well folks, I've spent a long and grueling summer learning my freshman band music for a conference in Seattle.
One song gave me quite a lot of trouble: Turbine, by John Mackey
This lovely piece has a measure in which I must make a jump from a regular Bb to a high D#, I spent the whole damn summer trying to do this. And today (after practicing the Hadyn conbcerto a bit) I finally did it consistently!
Ahhhhhhhhhh. Now I'm never touching the instrument again. :p
