The brass quintet at my high school is very good, but we don't have much good music to play. I cannot recall what books we have, but basically they are a Canadian Brass Quintet Book, a couple of easy Christmas books, and a couple of very basic (8th notes are rare...) quintet books. Does anyone have advice on a moderately hard quintet (tuba, trombone, 2 trumpets, and french horn) book?
Advice on single pieces would also be useful because we will be playing in an ensemble festival in the spring (this piece should be more difficult because we have several weeks to work on it).
