Hi there. Just started playing again after 30 years and want to know about mouthpieces. My Yamaha came with a mouthpiece size 11B4. What I need to know is this OK for a relative beginner or should I get something different

If you have the mouthpiece that you used when you used to play regularly why not just use that? If not or you don't want to, the yamaha would be fine if it is comfortable for you. Or just get a bach 3C or 7C, something basic. Otherwise just use whatever you sound good on.

The yamaha is basically a bach 7D. Thats a little small and shallow for classical playing if thats what you're doing. If you are looking for something that you can play any type of music on, I'm going to guess that you'd want something slightly deeper, maybe a C cup.
