Ive been playing Euphonium for Years. And i love it.

But recently, after a change of situation i had to leave my brass Band behind me and this meant leaving my Euph. Now, I could buy one of my own but as a pennyless Student i cant afford one so ive bought myself a Cornet.

Is there any way of making this Transition any easier?

Ive read alot about practicing, and changing Lip Positions etc but im after a quick fix (Arent we all?)

I was thinking of investing in a Larger Mouthpiece just to help with the change.
What is the size of the biggest (Cornet) mouthpiece i can buy that would be vaguely like what i have been used to before? Sounds Impossible.

Help?

Well, obviously no mouthpiece is going to be as large as the euphonium mouthpiece. You might want to try the Bach 1 1/2 C.
