I am frustrated and need some help! I have just started playing trumpet and I can get a pretty clear sound for the notes middle C to F. I can't play G or any note higher. Any tips would be much appreciated. I am practicing lots but just can't get it! Thanks for helping!

well you really just need to build up you embrochure which is the musscles around you lips so the more you play the stronger they will be. So just keep trying to go up a note each time you play. Your lips might hurt a little but they will get used to it

Blow long tones for fifteen minutes a day, gradually progressing higher and higher. It will be boring, but worth it in the long run. Beyond that, practice out of whatever beginning method book you may have.
