I`m wondering if anyone has any info on what the greats use(d) for their horns. About the only thing I can find is Miles used a Helm at one point. Anyone know what Diz, Miles, Doc, Louis Armstrong, or any of the others used?

wynton marsalis uses a monette b2 miles used a giardinelli custom as did louis armstrong as for maynard he also used at one point a giardinelli but now uses a monette. as for doc last i heard he used a bach and a stork custom but not real sure

Doc is probably the only pro to play a 7C and Maynard uses a Monette MFIII.
