I have it. Its the professional arrangement. I was in playing 2nd chair at the time. The highest note for second part is only top Bb. But first part is in altissimo range. I was also in 7th grade already being in a high school band. I could manage to get you first part. It has the original solo so you dont have to mess with chord progressions.

If anyone has the transcribed solos from the glen miller recording of this piece, if you could email me, that would be great.

i agree with yoyoyoyo. the middle school version is too easy. i`ve got Micheal Sweeny`s arrangement(1st part) and the highest note there is a G. but if you want you can add your own notes in like my teacher did for me. she knocked some of the parts up to high c and d. in the mood is a great piece of swing though. its too bad i`ve only got the trumpet part. if anyone knows of a site thats got the sax part transcribed to trumpet along with the trumpet part email me or IM me at itemcode1D10T. any of you that arent beginners i`d love to talk trumpet, or guitar, or music in general, so feel free to IM me. peace
