Hi. I work at Walgreens and they play the same songs over and over again. I keep hearing a song that I like, but I can`t figure out what it is. (Walgreens music is cooler than you think.)
It`s sung by guys, is upbeat, and repeats the chorus quite a bit towards the end of the song.
The chorus sounds like "C I T and Y...we`re going to the city. C I T and Y."
Okay. I am the world`s worst person for hearing lyrics and I am pretty sure those are wrong. But it sound like they are spelling something. I know it`s not much to go on, but I figured it was worth a shot.

Half a year later I am still looking....
Hahaha. I heard the song on the radio today (but caught only the end, GRR). I just googled the hell out of every possible variation...and all I found was my own comment here at this site.

this has happened to me before....
try calling the local radio stations, specifically whichever is close to the same style, whether it`s oldies or rock
i need more information. haha. i work at walgreens. do you have any other 411 on it...the beat or maybe more lyrics? while we`re on the topic of finding lyrics/song name...there`s a song at walgreens i`m trying to figure out myself...it sounds like that new carrie underwood chick but i`m not sure i don`t see it under songs she`s recorded...anywho...it goes something like "if only we had been stronger...and only we had hold on" it`s some sappy song but it drives me nuts not to figure out...usually i figure songs out but the sappiness throws me off.
This is an old post but is it that 80s song, I think I`m naming it wrong but the line is "we built this city on rock and roll?" They sing "we built this city...we built this city...we built this city on rock and rollllll...." ???
