Ive stumbled on a problem as of late, I wake up one morning and start to play my normal warmups but everything just feels wrong, my lips seem to have forgotten how to play a trumpet almost. This being after a week or so of some of the best playing I have ever done, I commanded the horn and played great up to double G and down which is the ceiling of my playable range from day to day. I figured it was just a down day but its been almost 2 weeks now and they still feel like crap. Anyone else had this happen or have any advice to give? The only thing I can think of that might have caused this bad few weeks was staying out on the beach for a day. I was pretty badly sunburned and might have torched the lips as well, just a thought though. Anyway, any help would be great. Thanks

yep....i play the piano.
i get a lot of those things...it's like a "bad music day" for me, hey i don't say that music is bad.
there are instances that i even forgot how to play
and sometimes i do get irritated because i can't even play something decent.hehe
well what i do is i take time to condition my mind in playing.
i think it's some sort of meditation...
i close my eyes, relax and think i will have a fruitful practice...
mind-set...
