I picked up this great remix cd at my internship at UMGD. Its called Big Band Remixed + Reinvented, and it features artists like DJ Spooky and KC Santana. I'm not really into mainstream stuff so this was perfect for me. The cd has a bunch of big band/swing stuff by greats like Jimmy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, and Artie Shaw, redone in unique mixes highlighting the traditional tracks and adding modern beats and bleeps for that extra edge.
