my best friend plays clarinet and that is what she is planning on majoring in.
well.... basically it is therapy... with music.. Music Therapists work in doctors or nursing homes and play their music to make ppl feel better. I went helped with a music therapy program for a week 2 summers ago at a nursing home for people with Alzheimers.... there was a lady playing keyboard while the workers danced with the patients. I played my flute for them too. It was nice and the patients really enjoyed it.
I have also heard of music therapists playinf harp....
