i want to play an instrument (i don't currently) but don't know whats easiest. i want to play violin but don't know if it's too hard. what is an ideal instrument to start playing?

Don't pick an instrument based on how hard it is to play. EVERY instrument is hard in some aspects. The violin is no exception.

I think that if you want to start music, you should learn the piano. After you have learned at least the basics of piano, it's easier to learn other instruments.

I would recommend the piano but someone already bet me too it. All instruments have their pro & cons, just depends which really works for you.
