I was an honor student back in High School. However, after I graduated I had to work. So I wasn't able to attend college like I desired, and my music career stopped. Now, I have finally decided to pursue my vision of becoming a band director. Please give me some instruction on how to relaunch my music career. Thank you.

Well, since I'm only a freshman in high school, I doubt I can help too much, but I can still try!
First, get your instrument out. Play this instrument. Love the instrument. Play music (As opposed to other things you can play on an instrument?) and such.
Then, I would say go to college for a degree in anything having to do with music.
I know, I'm not that great a help, but that's all I've got!

If your going to become a band director, become a good one. Show up to class on time, know ALL the intruments (including oboe). I ALWAYS feel left out as an oboe player because no one really knows about them/me in my band. Remember to tune LOTS, and let your oboe player tune the band sometimes too.

Thanks again. How long have you been playing? What do you currently do within your music career?
All the best
