Street musicians are hardly ever represented in any form of media, as far as I know. Can anyone point me to any websites which may give some info on them, please. Thanks.

Yes.......gosh, masses of street music ......lot of blues and jazz ....never occurred to me to look on YouTube! This is going to keep me entertained for a while, I can tell. Thank you so much for sending me off in this direction.
This is very interesting......but can I go a tad further....what I was really interested in finding is written material about the musicians, or images of street jazz musicians. Not exactly sure, until I see it. Particularly interested, now that I think about it more, in the street musicians of New Orleans and their lives pre and post Katrina.
So, can anybody help with this please.
Again, many thanks

These are great sites with lots of photos giving masses of visual info. Checking these out has led me down other avenues. It would be great if the photographers of these musicians gave some background history too. Would make the photos that much more interesting.
Thanks for your help ...... it is taking time to look at it all but am doing so!!!

Well – here's your chance for some field research! Maybe wait for summer to come around first, then grab a camera and a handful of train tickets ...
