On Wednesday Shane (the guy who is like our schools music shop person... if that makes any sense) came to our school with upgrade instruments for everyone to try because a lot of ppl are still on beginner models. There weren't any upgrade oboes (i didn't care tho, because I got my new oboe at the beginning of the school year) It was funny watching every play. It was like little kids on Christmas.

Oh yeah, Shane. I actually know that guy.

ugggg. I just ate ice cream straight out of the carton. All of it that was left. With Hershey's syrup on it. gross and delicious. at the same time.

today is our last week of track (unless you're fast enough to go to south end and state, but thats not happening for me) but pretty much am done because we're only allowed 3 absences. And I already have three because of rehearsals for full orchestra. I have a band rehersal on Wednesday, so I wouldn't be able to go to the meet on Friday.
Just thought every one would like to know.

uggg. I need to buy a new swab. Really bad. Mine looks like some animal shredded it up.

wow i haven't been here for awhile..... aww srry about not being able to go on in track. today during band two of our trombones failed the class becuz they didn't practice like the bd told them to and so they sucked. i felt bad... but they sorta deserved it.

That sounds like our band. There are only like 5 people including me that ever practice. Sometimes the other people even make mistakes on purpose to make our director mad. It makes me mad!

our band is pretty good. I mean, not everyone is obsessed an lives to play (*cough*me*cough*) but there are only a few who don't practice and aren't so great.

Today someone called me a band nerd.
I just told them I prefer the term musician, but whatever works for them.
