Hello, we're SWON, a friendly amateur wind band based in East Finchley in London. We're on the look out for some new members to fill in some gaps for this term which starts next Tuesday 24th April. We're especially keen to find, Trumpet, French Horn, Bassoon, Bass Clarinet and Oboe players.
We rehearse weekly on Tuesday evenings, do 1-2 performances a term and plan on going on tour next year! We're looking for people who want to join us properly (we have deps as and when we need already) who would like to play with us. Grade 7+ prefered, but if you're an enthusiastic improver, we'd still love to have you. There's no audition process.

Do you mean a double bass? No, we are a wind band, only instruments you blow thru to make a noise, sorry! If you're talking about a wind instrument, then yes, we always have spaces available for whatever you play. Visit our website to find out more.
