I`m trying to help my wife, she has been playing the piano for years. She pretty much plays by ear. There is this one chord she can`t figure out. It is an A with a little O next to it with a slash through it. Have any idea what this is? Please help! Thanks!!

You can also call it Amin7b5 (Aminor 7 with a flat 5)
It includes the root(A), the minor third(C), the flat 5(Eb)
and the minor 7(G). So you got A-C-Eb-G. It`s often used as the VII degree of a major scale(so you`d be in Bb major)
or as the II degree of a minor scale(you`d be in G minor).
I guess the next chord in the song is a E7 and after a Gmin or maybe major.
