well...since your 13 i think a degree in music isn`t possible yet...just continue to play...and study about instruments, caring for them, cleaning them, look into the teaching part, and just keep learning and practing...whenever you get to the point you can help people start helping them to get a feel.

fair enough.. i`ll elaborate
if you want to be an orchestra teacher, eventually a degree is going to be required. getting into a college music program is going to require an audition, and depending on the school, competition can be fierce. it wouldn`t hurt to make a decision soon about which instrument will be your major so you can focus your studies. keep up with the piano, it`s required of all music majors.
for right now, just keep getting better on your axe, take lessons, let your teacher know of your goals so they can keep you on the right path. practice .. A LOT.. focused practice, not just noodling around. know what you are spending all that time to accomplish. otherwise, you`ll be practicing and getting worse.. i have seen it happen.
i have heard many cats with music degrees who can`t play their way out of a wet paper bag.. don`t be that guy.
