What is a good book to buy if I want to have serius techical practice? Techical things I can use in jazz improvisations?

<Added>

I'we started the doodle studies for some time ago, but it seems to me that you have to play weak to get the articulation good.. Listening to Bob McChesney supports my impression.. Really want to hear him play loud and that fast..
Any experiences with doodle tonguing and loud playing??

you don't need a book... obviously no one out there is good enough to warrant your attention anyway.
so I will say it again. if you are that good, record yourself, post the recording, and I will take lessons from you.
Bob McChesney is a hell of a player. you are basing your opinion on the recordings provided in his book. the book is about doodle tonguing. with few exceptions, doodle tonguing does not work terribly well out loud volumes. no one disputes that. but believe me when I tell you that Bob McChesney is an amazing player, and a hell of a nice guy. Have you heard him play anything other than doodle studies? doodle tonguing is just one trick in bob's !*****!nal. if you're going to judge, at least base it on more than his tracks from his book.
you need to quit bad mouthing other players. it's unprofessional. it's rude. it's disrespectful. it makes you look bad.
you want a book for technique... get out your cd player, your horn, and some manuscript paper, and transcribe. not just bone players. sax players. trumpet. do it yourself. you obviously don't think any bone players out there have anything to teach you.
get over yourself, man.

He is probably a very pleasant person, haven't met him.

And I am not full of myself. Apparently you think otherwise, but I have never said that I am a living Legend. Where did you get that from?

try this book it kicks ass, Its not a "jazz" book but throw some accidentals in and swing it and its pretty good inspiration material.

Suites for Violoncello alone by JS bach transcribed for Trombone by Robert l marsteller. Published by Southern Music Company. its like 6 bucks and here is what i do there are apregios all throughout, lower the 7 half a step and drop the 3 as well. Good times. Then I also take it up an octive for range exercize.
