I'm looking to expand my library with a new piece. Rimsky-Korsakov's Trombone Concerto. I downloaded this song and fell in love with it. I'd like to get it without actually having to buy it. If anyone knows where I can get it, your help will be greatly appreciated.
Buy the piece. It can't be more than $15, and it might even be less than that. Support the publishing companies, because if everybody got music without paying for it, the publishers would go out of business and nobody would have anything to play anymore.

Just for the info, this sort of thing is severely frowned upon in The Trombone Forum (formerly the OTJ Forum), and for good reason. Same thing with copied CD's and other similar free music.
This type of thread would be locked immediately on The Trombone Forum.
The Rimsky-Korsakov concerto rocks. It's a staple of trombone solo literature, and is the only piece writen by a "major" 19th century composer for the trombone (Mendelssohn's first violinist doesn't qualify as "major"...) Buy it.
I agree. While I'm not all that familiar with it, there are several other 20th century trombone works I like more and are higher on my list then the R-K.
Check out the Jacob or the Hindemith (one of my favs), just to name a (small) few.
Well I don't know much about that piece but if you are looking for good music, just go to peppermusic.com Its my teachers fav site to buy all of the music that we get. (well most) well on the topic of good songs I am working on the concerto in Eflat major. I love the andonte section but the piece gets a little high for me.
