hey, Im new. My name is Alex. I'm going to the Crane School of Music next year for Trombone, and Im gonna get a jazz bone for a graduation present. I've narrowed it down to the point where I just want an old King 2B Jazz horn. Call me a snob... but Im aware I'm stubborn. Anyway. I want to ask if re-lacqured trombones are just as good as re-larqured sax's which is to say that they aren't that good. I found this one trombone on ebay (I've used ebay before... so I know what Im getting into...)

true or false... too good to be true? Or if you're selling a King 2B Jazz horn, let me know.

-Alex

As I write this, the bidding for that horn is at 760 dollars. If it sells for that, wow, what a deal. I doubt it will though. I'll be keeping an eye on it myself. What a great condition that horn is in!
A 2B is a great horn. I'm a 3B guy myself, but have been eyeballing smaller horns lately.
Good luck finding a horn. Also, consider contacting DJ Kennedy from the Trombone Forum, his inventory of good used horns is extensive. Also the Trombone Forum classifieds have some good deals.

thats what I'm saying!!! It looks like its brand new! Does re-lacquring take away from the trombone at all?
