Emeritus Recordings invites you to preview our latest CD in our Repertoire Series that is designed to introduce to the public exciting never-before recorded repertoire performed by established and up-and-coming artists. “Trombonara” contains works of four established composers written for trombone alone, tenor trombone and piano, bass trombone and piano, and trombone ensemble. The works are performed by David Ridge, principal bass trombone with the San Francisco Opera Orchestra; Don Immel, principal trombone of the Sonderjyllands Symfoniorkester and former principal trombonist in the Seattle Ring Cycle Orchestra; Paul Compton, Assistant Professor of Trombone at Oklahoma State University; Peter Howell and Justin Clark, both finalists in several ITA competitions; and trombone ensembles from the Manhattan School of Music and the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. These CDs sell for under $10. Excerpts of all the pieces can be heard at http://www.cooppress.hostrack.net/TrombonaramaCDhome.html

We hope that you share our excitement of introducing these fine performances and wonderful additions to the repertoire.

Sy Brandon

Sorry, but I thought the recording quality was less than desirable if the MP3 excerpts are any example.
