hey

im 13 and im starting trombone.

can any1 plz recommend a trombone that is fairly cheap but will last me through high school???
(not hsc, just band and stuff)

rent from ted brown- they have a deal where if you do it properly you can get your own after a while- unfortunately you have to use a crappy one until you get up enough to uy your own- just saying its a possibility

Keep in mind this is coming from someone who used to work for one of those "rent to own" companies....
I must warn you that with most rent to own programs, by the time you own the horn, you paid about double what it would have cost you to buy it outright in the first place. Renting for a little while to see if you really like playing and are going to stick with it is good. But the rent to own program generally benefits the store far more than it does you. I say rent for six months or so. (Most places give you the first three months dirt cheap anyway). If you still like it, look at buying.
