I bought a new Bach trombone a few months ago, and two weeks after I bought it the spit began to come out green.

I've washed it, tried a few different types of slide lubricant, but I don't know what to say. The spit is always green- and a deep green, too. After it has dried there is still a green stain. Anyone have any suggestions?

What are you using to clean your horn out with? (the snakes, brushes, and soap)

Depending on the depth of your cleaning, if you've really been through than have you cleaned the bell section

Is you aren't that through, than you may just not get everything out of it. But more than likely its just the Oxidation of the brass inside the horn, not a big deal, just you have to take a little more time to clean it.

I have same problem, but mine is from my slide cream I use. Lol its lubercating but it kinda eats away at my shinny brass color of my horn
