Hey all, I just did my solo recital for my Music solo perf class unit 2 and it went awesome. I'm doing solo perf class next year, Units 3+4 and i already have a program worked out, though i am trying to find recordings of the pieces that i am doing. My program includes: ESSAI IV by Marcel Galiegue
Fantasy for Trombone by Malcolm Arnold
Melodious Etude number 45
Concert Piece by Alexandre Guilmant
Vocalise number 34 by Rachmaninov
anyway i was hoping for some advice on my program, eg whether the line up is good or not or any advice in playing any of these pieces. also if anyone has a recording or knows where to find a recording of ESSAI, Fantasy for Trombone and possibly even the Melodius etude, i would really greatly appreciate it
Just wondering what key the Vocalise is in for trombone. It is in G for the cello with the high note being the second E above the staff in bass clef. But it is written in tenor and treble clef.
