It would depend on the sport you are playing these tunes for. But something fun, if you want to arrange it yourself is anything off of Jock Jams. Something else fun and entertaining is Nintendo music. Being that Mario is overplayed...you can use other music such as the music from Super Smash Brothers, F-Zero's theme song is exciting, Mega Man, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, etc. You could also try just a few things such as:
Music of:
Queen
Kiss
Stevie Wonder
Eric Clapton
Styx
The Rolling Stones

or...always a classic...your own arrangement of Birdland!

hope this comes as some help to you!

Happy Arranging.

man birdland would be cool but that is a little bit old and might be too dificult for stand music. i need something new or popular that would be fun to play at a football game that would energize the players but not too hard to play. i thank a kiss song would go off great. thanks for the idias

I don't know either, but I think he's referring to music played in a pep band. You know, "Go Fight Win," "Hey Baby," etc.

yeah, it's like that. our band plays at our football games, we sit up in the "stands" and play stuf like hey baby and what not. we call it stand music, it just means music we play at football games. i thought it was a generic term. my bad.
we don't use a pep band though, we use all 250 people. all the high schools around here have bands like that and we have a sort of compotition for the best stand music. last year a wrote an arrangment of "beautifull girls" (sean kingston) and it was a big hit so i need some good ones for this year

Oh, I thought you might have meant "music stand", which didn't make much sense to me (how else would one hold up his music?). Thanks for the explanation.
