Hey all, it's been a while since I've been around here... This place kind of slipped my mind for a while, but now I'm back! I figured let everyone know what I've been up to... I just graduated this semester with a BA in Music, and now I'm auditioning for grad schools. I'm hoping for Northwestern, also looking at Western Michigan, Colorado University, and I have a graduate assistantship offer at University of Nebraska. I had my senior recital a few weeks ago, but I was a little bummed with how it went. Oh well, my next recital will be better, it was a great learning process. I was playing around on my computer and tried loading one of the selections from my recital on to YouTube and it turned out okay. It's the Lebedev Concerto in One Mvt, one of my favorites from the recital. It didn't go as well as I'd like it to, but that's life. Here's the link so you guys can check it out and give me some feedback if you'd like!

where did you buy the sheet music from? There are so many sites I don't really know which one I should get it from. I saw your recital it was cool that's one of my favorite pieces.

I have no interest in judging the music itself, but I will bring up one thing...
Your movements while you play are very distracting. I understand emoting, but they were to such an extent that it pretty much kept me from paying attention to the music at all.
For what it's worth, this is the pot calling the kettle black here, as that is almost always something I get called on when I perform. I'm working on it.
